One hot day, a thirsty crow flew from place to place looking for water. He was very tired and almost gave up. At last, he saw a small pot with a little water at the bottom. The crow tried to drink it, but his beak could not reach the water.
He thought for a moment. Then he got an idea. He picked up small stones one by one and dropped them into the pot. Slowly, the water rose higher and higher. Soon, the water reached the top. The crow drank it happily and flew away.
