The DHA Nurses Exam is a licensing examination required for nurses who want to work in Dubai, UAE, under the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
Purpose of the Exam
- To assess clinical knowledge and professional competency.
- To ensure nurses meet DHA standards of safe practice.
- Mandatory for working in DHA, MOHAP, and private healthcare facilities in Dubai
Eligibility Criteria (Basic)
- BSc Nursing / GNM from a recognized institution.
- Minimum experience: BSc Nursing: usually 2 years. GNM: usually 3 years.
- Valid home country nursing license/registration.
- Good Standing Certificate
Exam Pattern
- Type: Computer-based test (CBT).
- Questions: ~70–100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Duration: About 2 hours.
- Passing score: Usually 60% (subject to DHA policy)

- Usually up to 3 attempts.
- Gap required between attempts as per DHA rules.
After Passing
- Obtain Eligibility Letter.
- Secure a job offer in Dubai.
- Complete DataFlow verification.
- Activate DHA license.
