KEY FEATURES

  • Use present continuous tense (is happening, are taking part).
  • Use active voice only.
  • Keep sentences short and clear
  • Describe what is seen now
  • Avoid past narration

SAMPLE TASK

You are a TV reporter. Report live from your school where a cleanliness drive is taking place.

Good morning. This is Riya reporting live from ABC School. A cleanliness drive is taking place in the school campus. Students are cleaning the surroundings and collecting waste. Teachers are guiding the students and giving instructions. Some students are sweeping the ground while others are picking up plastic items. The school environment looks active and organized. Everyone is working together with great interest. The programme is creating awareness about cleanliness among students. The drive is continuing successfully. This is Riya reporting live.
