Sample Question

Some people believe that it is better to live in the countryside, while others argue that life in the city is more advantageous. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Sample Answer

Life in the countryside and life in the city both offer unique advantages, and the choice often depends on individual preferences and circumstances.

On one hand, the countryside provides a peaceful environment, free from the noise and pollution of urban areas. People living in rural regions often enjoy cleaner air, closer contact with nature, and a slower pace of life. This can contribute to better physical and mental health. Additionally, communities in the countryside tend to be smaller and more connected, which fosters stronger social relationships and a sense of belonging.

On the other hand, cities offer greater opportunities for education, employment, and entertainment. Urban areas are usually home to better infrastructure, including hospitals, schools, and public transport. For ambitious individuals seeking career growth, cities provide access to diverse industries and networking opportunities. Moreover, cultural activities such as museums, theatres, and concerts are more readily available in metropolitan regions, enriching people’s lifestyles.

In my opinion, while the countryside is ideal for those who value tranquility and close-knit communities, the city is more suitable for individuals who prioritize career development and modern conveniences. Personally, I believe that living in the city offers more advantages, especially in terms of opportunities and access to services. However, occasional visits to the countryside can provide a healthy balance between relaxation and ambition.
