No Prepositions!

Using “on” with some of these words:

Do you know, today, yesterday and tomorrow are adverbs. Do not worry about what adverbs are but just note that we do not use “on” or in or at before these words.

Incorrect Correct
On yesterday she complained… Yesterday she complained…
On today she complained… Today she complained…
One day after she complained… After a day / A day after she complained…

And in or to with these words:

Incorrect Correct
She works in abroad. She works abroad.
He went to overseas. He went overseas.

Prepositions in Date

In 22nd March On 22nd March
She has a follow up in Monday. She has a revisit on Monday.
She had her hernia removal on 2015. She had her hernia removal in 2015.
