Doing Subjects of a sentence are:

  1. A person who does the action in that sentence. 
  2. An animal that does the action in that sentence. 
  3. A bird that does the action in that sentence. 

So, the subject of a sentence can be a person, animal, bird or any other creature that can do an action. To find the subject, ask, “who” is doing the action?” or, “What is doing the action?”

Being Subjects of a Sentence are:

  1. A person about whom we say something in that sentence. 
  2. An animal about which we say something in that sentence. 
  3. A bird or insect about which we say something in that sentence.
