Using “Presented” in OET

Study the difference:

  • Presented – Came alone (Usually with mild problems..)
  • Was presented – Was brought by someone else (Usually for babies, kids, children, collapsed / fainted patients who cannot present by self)

Now read the explanation:

  • Admitted = when the patient has got admitted
  • Presented = Not necessarily admitted

NB: Remember, all presenting are not admissions.

  1. Baby Ryan _______ presented two days ago.
  2. After a fall at home, Mr Joe fell unconscious and _____ here this morning.
